Use & care
To ensure the full 20-year shelf life, store the filters unopened in their original plastic bags. Ideal storage conditions are in a clean place at temperatures between -5°C and +30°C with relative humidity below 80%. Never attempt to clean the filters with compressed air or water, as they cannot be regenerated.
Frequently asked questions
Find clear answers about this product, from choosing it to putting it to use.
Which respirator connection does the NBC-37 use?
It uses the Rd 40 × 1/7-inch connection under EN 148-1 / STANAG 4155, commonly called 40mm NATO. Confirm that your respirator accepts this filter and is suitable for the intended application.
Does the 20-year shelf life mean 20 years of use?
No. The 20-year period is for factory-sealed storage. Keep the original packaging unopened and follow the expiration marking and storage instructions; it is not a continuous-use rating.
Can I wash or regenerate the cartridge?
No. MIRA instructs users not to regenerate this filter or clean it with compressed air or water.
