This is a non-encapsulating protective coverall. It does not guarantee complete protection from all gases or vapors and does not shield against penetrating gamma or neutron radiation.
Protective equipment must be selected as a compatible system for the specific hazard. Check fabric, seams, closures and suit-to-equipment interfaces before use; remove a suit from service if it fails inspection.
The material is not breathable and can cause overheating or dehydration. Children require close supervision. If overheating occurs, move to safety and remove the suit as directed by the manufacturer.

How should I select a size?
Compare the manufacturer’s height and weight chart with the wearer and the equipment to be worn. Allow for the fit requirements in the suit instructions.
Does the suit block penetrating radiation?
No. MIRA states that it does not shield against gamma or neutron radiation. Its barrier function concerns specified contaminants, including radioactive particulates.
Are gloves, boots and a respirator included?
This listing is for the HAZ-SUIT coverall. Appropriate gloves, footwear, respiratory equipment and interface sealing must be selected separately for the application.
Can I rely on a fixed service life?
No single service life applies to every exposure or component. The manufacturer requires inspection of the fabric, seams, closures and interfaces, and removal from service when inspection fails.
