Frequently asked questions
Find clear answers about this product, from choosing it to putting it to use.
Which LifeStraw systems use these capsules?
The exact imported product lists Go bottles, Universal and Steel. LifeStraw also confirms Go and Go Series compatibility. These are different from the Flex/Peak activated-carbon attachment.
How many filters do I receive?
Two activated-carbon replacement capsules.
How often should I replace one?
LifeStraw rates each capsule for up to 100 liters, approximately two months of regular use. Replace sooner if you notice a change in taste or smell.
Does this replace the membrane filter too?
No. The carbon capsule is one stage of a compatible system. It does not replace the separate membrane used for microbiological filtration.
