What thread does the NBC-17 SOF use?
It uses Rd 40 × 1/7-inch threading under EN 148-1 / STANAG 4155, commonly called 40mm NATO. Check the exact respirator/filter compatibility before use.
Is the NBC-17 SOF compatible with the MB-90 PAPR?
No. MIRA explicitly excludes the MB-90 PAPR because the NBC-17 SOF has shorter threads.
How long can it remain in storage?
The specified storage life is ten years when factory sealed. Keep it unopened under the stated storage conditions and check the month/year marking on the filter.
Can the filter be washed or regenerated?
No. MIRA instructs users not to regenerate the cartridge or clean it using compressed air or water.
